Key Events

International Cooperation

YOFC signed an important cooperation agreement with Sir David Payne from the Optoelectronics Research Centre (ORC) of the University of Southampton, United Kingdom.

Introduction of New Fibre Products

GenBand® fibre boasts enhanced performance across the board compared to traditional G.652 fibres. These advancements notably enhance bend resistance while preserving a large mode field diameter. Compatible with existing G.652 systems, these fibers deliver enhanced performance, meeting the demands of diverse miniaturized optical cables and complex installation environments.

EasyBand® Plus-Mini 180μm SMF, tailored for data center campus environments, establishes transmission links between buildings and facilitates efficient connections among data centers. The fibre features an ultra-small 180μm outer diameter, offering a compact and lightweight solution suitable for ultra-high-density applications.

Focusing on the internal data transmission in data center, YOFC has launched MaxBand® OM4 Ultra MMF, optimized for transmissions up to a hundred meters. The product is adept at offsetting for the central wavelength shift in high-speed 800G optical modules, maintaining the precision of data transmission.

1 Billion fkmOptical Fibres Delivered

Over the 36 years since its founding in 1988, YOFC has delivered 1 billion fkm optical fibres. This marks a significant milestone, proving YOFC's relentless commitment to "connecting every corner of the world with optical fibres".
