In order to thoroughly implement the Guidelines on Deepening "Internet + Advanced Manufacturing" and Developing Industrial Internet, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has issued the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Recommendations for 2018 Industrial Internet Pilot Demonstration Projects (GXTXGH [2018] No. 306), and launched the selection of pilot demonstration projects of industrial Internet in 2018. Through the whole process from enterprise independent application, to local recommendation, expert review and on-site verification, MIIT has approved 72 projects as the Pilot Demonstration Projects of Industrial Internet in 2018. The application project of all-optical industrial Internet platform of Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company (hereinafter referred to as "YOFC", Stock Code: 601869.SH, 06869.HK) was approved by MIIT to be enrolled in the first batch of "Pilot Demonstration Projects for Integration Innovation and Application of Indu strial Internet Platform" and is the only project representing Hubei Province in this List.

All-optical industrial Internet platform is an important practice of YOFC to achieve diversification strategies. In the application project of all-optical industrial Internet platform, YOFC has developed a complete set of all-optical industrial Internet architecture system and solutions based on its long-term production practice in the optical fibre and cables industry, in combination with its technical advantages in optical transmission and optical fibre sensing, and through the transverse integration of supply chain, the vertical integration of IoT, and the continuous optimization of perception, transmission, storage, analysis and other functions.

In the future, bearing the mission "Smart Link, Better Life" in mind, and sticking to the core value "Client Focus, Accountability, Innovation, Stakeholder Benefits", YOFC will go deeper into the pilot demonstration of the industrial Internet platform, extend the application of all-optical industrial Internet platform to such industrial production fields as electronic communication, medicine, and petrochemical industry, and provide the platform with comprehensive solutions on all-optical network information transmission and data analysis. At the same time, the products and solutions related to the industrial Internet of YOFC will also drive the Company to transform from a traditional optical fibre manufacturing enterprise to a service integrator, leading the technological reform of optical fibre and cables industry.
