On the afternoon of May 13, 2016, 2015 Scholarship Awards and Forum on Strategic Cooperation in Innovation and Entrepreneurship” of School of Electronics Engineering was grandly held at Hongya Hall of Zhengda International Exchange Center Peking University. Dean of School of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science Peking University and CAS academician Huang Ru chaired the conference and gave a speech at the conference. Manager of HR & Administration Department of Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company (“YOFC”) (Stock Symbol: 6869.HK) Li Xuan and other entrepreneurs were invited to attend the conference.

As the earliest social enterprise donating money for education of School of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science Peking University, since 2001, “YOFC Scholarship” has existed in “the first national comprehensive university in China” for 15 years. In order to help outstanding university students to better complete their education, this time, YOFC signed the fourth five-year renewal agreement with School of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science Peking University and awarded “YOFC Scholarship” to outstanding student representatives.

Assistance for hope, developing YOFC has always kept in mind paying something to the society, the people and national education to make outstanding students at school study at ease, grasp knowledge, serve country and give full play to their intelligence and wisdom for national optical communication business. YOFC wants to encourage students to unceasingly overcome difficulties and advance courageously on the way of study via scholarship and other ways, so as to inherit its corporate spirit, i.e. keep improving and strive for excellence without end.
