Metallized Optical Fibre and Component
Metallized optical fibre is plated with a metal layer on the surface of the bare optical
fibre to achieve protection and facilitate hermetic packaging. This product uses chemical
metallization technology to cover the exposed optical fibre with Ni and Au layers on the
cladding to achieve partial metallization of the optical fibre, and then welding the metal
tube to form a sealing component. It is used for coupling, welding and hermetic packaging
of all kinds of passive/active devices.
