Acting on circular economy and green manufacturing visions, YOFC worked together with Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd. from Japan and Air Liquide from France to build YOFC Qianjiang Science & Technology Park in Jianghan Salt Chemical Industrial Park, Qianjiang City for the sake of complete business chain, better capacity arrangement, and greater overall competitiveness in an all-round way. It aimed to collaboratively explore a new path of eco-friendly and green development. In 2017, YOFC Qianjiang Science & Technology Park officially went into operation.

YOFC Qianjiang Science & Technology Park is located in Jianghan Salt Chemical Industrial Park, Qianjiang City (a pilot site of the national circular transformation demonstration program) and it has been a role model in putting the concept of green and circular development in place. Main by-products like diluted hydrochloric acid and saline water generated by the optical fibre preform project of YOFC Qianjiang Science & Technology Park are recycled and reused by Jianghan Salt & Chemical Complex. In addition, the hydrogen, chlorine, and caustic soda generated by the production of ion-exchange membrane caustic soda of the adjacent Sinopec Jianghan Salt Chemical Hubei Co., Ltd. are safely and conveniently transported to YOFC Qianjiang Science & Technology Park as main raw materials. It realizes zero discharge of waste  by recycling and reusing traditional industrial waste gas and liquid, increases energy utilization rate by more than 40%, raises production efficiency by about 20%, and reduces operating costs by more than 20%.
