Job responsibilities

 

a. Coordinate on-site technical teams during fiber optic network installation and maintenance activities.

b. Verify compliance with project plans, routes, and specifications.

c. Manage subcontractors.

d. Prepare ODN or OSP deliverables.

e. Clarify the client's technical requirements.

f. Provide technical support and troubleshooting.

g. Coordinate technical activities related to the fiber optic implementation project.

h. Interact with all stakeholders involved in the project.

i. Apply technical skills to effectively persuade the client, with the goal of ensuring successful service delivery.

j. Monitor the physical and technical progress of assigned tasks.

k. Plan the resources, tools, and materials needed for each work shift.

l. Ensure compliance with established technical procedures for overhead or underground cable laying, splicing, and OTDR testing.

m. Report any technical incidents, delays, or risks identified in the field.

n. Ensure that field work complies with quality standards and occupational safety regulations.

o. Conduct on-site inspections and complete control logs.

p. Promote and verify the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by technical personnel.

q. Act as a liaison between field personnel and administrative or engineering departments.

r. Participate in progress meetings with clients or contractors as needed.

s. Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and photographic documentation of the work performed.

t. Provide basic technical support to field personnel during fiber installations or splices.

u. Ensure accurate documentation of routes, labels, and test results.

Job Requirement and Qualification

 

Candidate Requirements

Minimum experience: 2–3 years in the same position

Technical skills: AutoCAD

Soft skills: Communication skills

Languages: English preferred
