On the evening of 22nd September, the 8th generation of Chinese Entrepreneurs Summit in Telecommunication Optical Cable and Fibre was solemnly held in Fuyang District which is located in Hnagzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company (hereinafter referred to as "YOFC", stock code: 6869.HK) was awarded the “Lingyu” prize set up by following summit organizers, including optical and Electrical Branch of China Electrical Equipment Industrial Association, Specialized Committee of Electrical and Optical Cable China Association of Communication Enterprises, Optical and Electric Fibre and Device Branch of China Electronic Component Industry Association. These four prizes refer to:most influential enterprise, outstanding entrepreneurs, contribution to industrial development and excellent technical experts.

The Year 2017 marks a memorable milestone in the history of development of Chinese Telecommunication  and cable industries. Since 1997, the journey of Chinese optical fibre and cable industry has been going through for more than 40 years. With the attention of all fields, this celebration summit took “glory and dream for four decades, undertake the mission of hope for hundreds of years” as its theme,generated backbone entrepreneurs, prominent experts and scholars to review the achievement and progress,as well as the discussion of the future orientation of the whole fields. YOFC attended this summit on invitation and earned the honor of four “Lingyu” prizes: YOFC won the prize of most influential enterprise. Another highlight of this Commendation Conference was the performance of art shows selected from participated companies. Unlike the solemnity  of the award ceremony, the shows created a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere into celebration and commendation. The whole program was self-compiled, self-directed and self-performed by the optical and fibre workers including hale and hearty old experts, industry elites in high and vigorous spirits which were emulatively rush to perform art shows on the stage. The dancing show "Great Dreamer" selected by YOFC brought the house down with fresh melody and lively dance steps. The dance not only demonstrated the vital corporate culture of YOFC, but also represented the great longing of the new generation of optical and fibre people for a bright future.
