3-Day MWC Shanghai 2023 kicked off on June 28, 2023 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). With Lighting up the Digital Future as the theme, YOFC presented its superior products and solutions in Showcasing products and solutions of seven themes, including new optical fibre and new materials, computing network optical base, marine communication, digital power, digital transportation, F5G digital life, and digital and smart manufacturing. Dr. Zhuang Dan, Executive Director and President of YOFC, attended the event. The exhibition was such a success with crowed visitors and cooperations reached. 

Currently, the rapidly developing digital economy, the prosperous computing services and the transformation of new businesses and new applications such as strategy to channel computing resources from the east to the west for training, storage, and rendering have put forward a series of new requirements on optical network architecture, capacity, speed, latency, energy efficiency, intelligence, security etc., driving the fibre and optical cable, upstream and downstream industries to a golden development stage. At the event, YOFC showcased its optical fibre products. Among them, the new-generation G.654.E optical fibre for trunk lines can realize backbone network transmission featuring high bandwidth, low latency and long haul, and is a preferred choice for 400G, 800G and future Tbit/s ultra-high-speed transmission technologies. The multi-core fibre, few-mode fibre, orbital angular momentum fibre and other new-generation optical fibre suitable for a higher transmission capacity are developed based on the space division multiplexing (SDM) technology, and can realize long-distance, low-loss and multi-channel SDM optical signal transmission, supporting the wide application of SDM fibres in communication, sensing, industry, medical care and other fields. The band-gap fibre developed based on microstructure fibre technology features low dispersion, ultra-low nonlinearity and low latency during transmission, as well as various operating bands, kilometer-level length and a low loss, contributing to the building of a high-quality optical communication network.

To address the pain points of different industries, YOFC has launched customized products and solutions.
