The afternoon of Friday, September 15, 2023, witnessed the grandeur of the "ICT Summit for Chinese Enterprises in Peru" organized by YOFC, which played host to esteemed leaders and experts from Sino-Peruvian enterprises. Dr. Zhuang Dan, Executive Director and President of YOFC, Ms. Zhou Lijing, Senior Vice President of YOFC and over fifty distinguished guests convened for this momentous occasion.
 

Dr. Zhuang delivered a compelling address. He expressed warm welcome to the present entrepreneurs and experts of Chinese enterprises in Peru, and extend great gratitude for their support for YOFC Peru in the past years. He mentioned that since 2014, YOFC has been expanding its overseas business in countries and regions along the Belt and Road Initiative, optimizing production capacity planning and undertaking overseas communication engineering projects. YOFC Peru is an outstanding example of YOFC's efforts in the Belt and Road Initiative and its internationalization strategy.

The national broadband cooperation project undertaken by YOFC has made significant contributions to Peru's economic recovery over the past three years and has created numerous job opportunities for the Peruvian people. By implementing the national broadband network construction in Peru, the company has greatly narrowed the digital divide between urban and remote mountainous areas, thereby improving the living standards and happiness of people in remote areas. YOFC is willing to work with outstanding Chinese enterprises in Peru to support digital transformation and contribute to the construction of a better Peru.

Ms. Zhou Lijing, the Senior Vice President, took center stage to deliver a captivating keynote speech on the theme of "Embracing the Digital Era, Creating a Better Future." Other speakers, including Zou Feng, General Manager of YOFC Peru Company, Shu Chao, Deputy General Manager of Huawei Cloud Business, and Zhou Zhecheng, General Manager of Hikvision Peru, shared their insights and experiences on the theme of "Smart Link" in a lively conference atmosphere.

During the conference, YOFC signed a contract with Mineria Chinalco Peru S.A. (Chinalco Peru) for the Chinalco Data Center project in Peru and signed strategic cooperation agreements with Huawei Peru and Hikvision Peru. YOFC is committed to creating a better Peru and achieving win-win outcomes with partners.

In response to the Belt and Road Initiative, YOFC established YOFC Peru Company in January 2019. In July 2019, YOFC Peru held a signing ceremony with the Peruvian government for the national broadband cooperation project, undertaking the broadband construction in four major regions of Peru: Ancash, Arequipa, San Martín, and La Libertad, to provide broadband services to over one million people.

In September 2023, Dr. Zhuang Dan and Ms. Zhou Lijing visited Peru to learn about the progress of the project, visit important clients, and connect with local employees.
