The 25th China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE) was held from September 11 to 13, 2024. Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company (YOFC, stock code: 601869.SH, 06869.HK) took the event by storm under the theme " Fibre Leads a New Era of Intelligence". Our booth is buzzing with visitors eager to learn more details about YOFC’s cutting-edge innovations in intelligent computing hub, specialty fibres and devices, intelligent sensing, industrial laser, green energy, and all-optical intelligent vehicle, igniting a spark of excitement across the industry and beyond. 

Intelligent Computing Hub

The intelligent computing hub solution launched by YOFC incorporates a range of products, including hollow-core fibre, multi-core fibre, high-density integrated cabling system, high-end multi-mode OM4/OM5 fibre, and 400G/800G high-speed optical transceiver. This solution features ultra-large bandwidth, ultra-low latency, and an ultra-high-density architecture design, as well as efficient and convenient deployment capabilities, addressing exponentially growing demand for intelligent computing power.

Specialty Fibres and Devices

Another grounding breaking innovation of YOFC was launched at this event - a new polarizer, a fundamental material for optical devices. This polarizer is designed to block the reverse transmission of optical signals, ensuring one-way transmission and effectively preventing the adverse effects of backward transmitted light on the light source and optical path system. Additionally, YOFC showcased a range of its flagship specialty fibre products, communication devices, and optical amplifier modules for communications.

Intelligent Sensing

YOFC’s upgraded product lineup also garnered much attention. It features the "Black Tornado" carbon-coated fibre and the "Underground Exploration Specialist" oil well sensing optical cable, as well as its independently developed optical fibre sensing system. These products enable real-time, continuous monitoring of various parameters, including temperature, pressure, and acoustic wave, allowing YOFC to deliver high-quality, reliable products and solutions for a range of sectors such as oil well exploration, underwater detection, wind power monitoring, new energy, bridges, and railways.

Industrial Laser

YOFC's new fibre products were brought in the limelight, including its independently developed doped fibre and medical fibre. The YOFC booth also highlighted industrial lasers designed for high-end manufacturing sectors such as new energy, precision machining, and sheet metal processing. Additionally, YOFC showcased customized integrated devices and FBGs for high power fibre lasers, contributing to the diverse advancement of industry applications.

Green Energy

YOFC's intelligent sunlight collecting system directly channels outdoor natural light into buildings using lighting cables, catering to the requirements of green lighting, environmental protection and health, energy conservation and emission reduction, and a low-carbon lifestyle. The system is suitable for large public spaces, villas, and basements. Currently, the system has been installed in various locations such as Shanghai Hongqiao, Xiamen North Railway Station, and residential villas.

All-optical Intelligent Vehicle

YOFC's all-optical intelligent vehicle seamlessly integrates five major solutions: in-vehicle optical fibre communication, vehicle decorative optical fibre, in-vehicle liDAR amplifier, in-vehicle battery monitoring, and automotive SiC module. This solution leverages optical fibre as its underlying technology, aiming to further advance the deep integration of vehicle electrification and intelligence. This not only significantly improves vehicle performance indicators, such as acceleration capability, endurance mileage, and intelligent driving level, but also greatly enhances vehicle safety and reliability while reducing energy consumption and maintenance costs.
