The MWC25 Barcelona Tower & Fibre Summit -- The evolution of Tower & Fibre infrastructure, sponsored by YOFC, was successfully held at the Fira Gran Via in Barcelona on March 6 (local time). Jan Bongaerts, Senior Vice President of YOFC, attended the summit and delivered a keynote speech under the theme of Leading a New Future with Fibre. In his address, he outlined how YOFC leverages innovative technologies and comprehensive industry chain capabilities to reinforce digital infrastructure in the AI era, and shared its mission-driven actions to extend optical fibre to every corner of the globe.


Jan Bongaerts emphasized that as AI technology becomes deeply integrated into various industries, global data traffic is experiencing exponential growth. Applications such as generative AI, ultra-high-definition video, autonomous driving, and the industrial internet set the bar higher for network transmission speeds, capacity, and latency. With a forward-looking approach, YOFC launched the next-generation optical fibre and cable solutions tailored to the three critical needs of "ultra-high speed, low latency, and high density" across all scenarios, providing robust support for the development of global digital infrastructure.
