Recently, YOFC, in partnership with a global industry leader in vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL) technology, successfully demonstrated 212G high-speed link transmission. This achievement was made possible through the integration of 212G VCSEL, high-performance DSP technology, and YOFC's multi-mode fibre, verifying the feasibility of YOFC's multi-mode fibre products in delivering high-speed, stable communication over distances of 30-50 meters. This milestone establishes a strong technical foundation for the application of next-generation 1.6T-SR8 optical modules in AI intelligence computing centers.
For the central wavelength of the 212G VCSEL, YOFC has implemented targeted optimization for multi-mode fibres to ensure precise wavelength alignment with the VCSEL. Furthermore, innovations in material formulation and upgrades in the manufacturing process have significantly improved the bandwidth performance of the multi-mode fibres, significantly boosting their carrying capacity for high-speed signals. This technological breakthrough not only improves transmission efficiency but also provides a reliable guarantee for future applications demanding higher bandwidth capacities.
