1. Job Overview
As the core hub of supply chain quality management, this role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end quality management throughout the supplier lifecycle. By driving strategic supplier development, quality system empowerment, and cross-functional collaboration (R&D, Procurement, Production), this position aims to enhance supply chain quality. The focus is on preventive quality management and continuous improvement to ensure raw material reliability and cost competitiveness, supporting the achievement of corporate strategic goals.
2. Key Responsibilities
Responsibility 1: Supplier Development & New Product Quality Control
Lead comprehensive qualification assessments of new suppliers (quality systems, process capabilities, equipment levels), identify onboarding risks, and strictly control supplier selection criteria.
Oversee supplier quality validation during new product development (e.g., PPAP approval, process audits, first-article tracking) to mitigate front-end quality risks.
Responsibility 2: Quality System Standardization & Continuous Optimization
Develop and update documents such as SIP (Standard Inspection Procedure) based on internal R&D requirements and supplier performance.
Regularly review supplier management processes to optimize systems and improve efficiency.
Responsibility 3: Rapid Response to Quality Issues & Continuous Improvement
Quickly address defects identified during incoming inspection and production to ensure on-time delivery.
Establish an escalation mechanism: initiate 8D corrective actions for major quality incidents (e.g., batch defects), lead root cause analysis (RCA), and design error-proof solutions.
Responsibility 4: Supplier Performance Evaluation & Optimization
Conduct regular supplier performance assessments to drive selection and elimination.
Support suppliers in process optimization and standard upgrades to enhance their management capabilities.
Responsibility 5: Supplier Audits
Execute annual and unannounced audits based on plans and standards to ensure ongoing effectiveness of supplier systems.
Conduct special audits per order requirements to preempt supply risks and ensure production and product quality meet expectations.
Responsibility 6: Supervision Scheduling & Capability Development
Plan on-site supervision schedules based on inspection procedures and order review results.
Empower the team through training aligned with supervision needs and competency matrices to improve effectiveness and efficiency.

Workplace: Office-based.
Location: Domestic, with occasional travel.
Working Hours: Day shift.
4. Qualifications & Requirements
4.1 Education
Degree: Bachelor’s or higher.
Major: Open to all disciplines; preference for Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Quality Management, or related fields.
Language: CET-4 or above.
Certifications: Preferred qualifications include Quality Engineer Certification, Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
4.2 Experience
Management: Team management experience is preferred.
Industry: Manufacturing background (e.g., electronics, automotive, machinery) is preferred; cross-regional supplier management experience is a plus.
4.3 Technical Skills
Procurement & Supply Chain: Familiarity with procurement processes, supplier management, and negotiation techniques.
Quality Tools: Proficiency in 8D, Seven Quality Tools, ISO9001, and knowledge of APQP/PPAP/FMEA/SPC/MSA.
Data Analysis: Advanced Excel skills; experience with statistics, stratification methods; Minitab is a plus.
Technical Knowledge: Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and use basic measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
Core Competencies: Strong cross-functional communication skills to coordinate between suppliers and internal teams for complex quality issue resolution.
