Recently, YOFC has successfully developed air-blowing micro optical cable products with the largest core number in China with ordinary single-mode fibre based on the needs of overseas customers, which marks that the air-blowing micro optical cable technology of YOFC has achieved international leading level.

In order to meet the needs of customers, the optical cable R&D team of YOFC has worked closely with international sales personnel, and has successfully developed air-blowing micro optical cable products with the largest core number in China at present through in-depth communication with customers which have passed various performance tests and have been sold to overseas high-end markets. Such product holds 432 optical fibres in a single optical cable with a diameter of only 11mm, with the optical fibre density in the optical cable being as high as 4.4F/mm², which may be well applied in 16/13.5mm pipeline for air-blowing laying.

As global communication service calls for increasingly high network bandwidth, optical fibre communication has been widely used as the fastest way of communication with the best transmission quality. However, with respect to network construction, in the situation of pipeline resource shortage, customers have put forward higher requirements for space utilization, construction efficiency, and maintenance convenience of pipeline, and as a mature optical cable network laying technology, air-blowing micro pipeline and micro cable technology has provided an excellent solution to the bottleneck of pipeline resource shortage faced by operators and has been widely used in overseas markets.
