On November 10-13, 2017, Asia Communications and PhotonicsConference (ACP 2017) was grandly held in Guangzhou Garden Hotel, Guangzhou. Asia Communications and Photonics Conference (ACP) is now the largest conference in the Asia-Pacific region on optical communication, photonics and relevant technologies. ACP has been held annually tracing back to 2001 and jointly sponsored by OSA, SPIE, IEEE Photonics Society. About 1,000 delegates from more than 30 countries and regions around the world gathered for this conference.

YOFC and state key laboratory of optical fibre and cable manufacture technology (OFCMT) were invited to present the meeting. YOFC and OFCMT presided an advanced optical fibre and optical fibre equipment subject branch (Track1), two invited reports, four chapters Oral reports and two Poster report ("1242"), total six Oral report and two Poster research report.
