On November 2, 2016, Asia Communications and Photonics Conference (ACP 2016) was grandly held in shangri-la hotel and the optical valley Hilton Hotel, Wuhan. Asia Communications and Photonics Conference (ACP) is now the largest conference in the Asia-Pacific region on optical communication, photonics and relevant technologies. ACP has been held annually tracing back to 2001 and jointly sponsored by OSA, SPIE, IEEE Photonics Society. About 1,000 delegates from more than 30 countries and regions around the world gathered for this conference.

Through the OFCMT's platform, YOFC has successfully co-organized ACP, the top academic event of optic fibre communication and optoelectronics in Asia and even the world. Through the comprehensive cooperation with famous universities, it has deepened the understanding and cooperation between national (key) laboratories, and strongly promoted the collaborative innovation of technology. This conference has received extensive attention and participation from domestic and foreign counterparts and won high praise from the delegates.
