The Changji-Guquan ±1100KV UHV DC transmission project put into operation in 2018, was a UHV DC transmission project made possible with the help of YOFC with the highest voltage level, the largest transmission capacity, the longest transmission distance representing the most advanced technology in the world at that time. It completed the commissioning of the bipolar low-end DC system, directly transmitting power from Xinjiang to the East China Power Grid for the first time.
